On December 11, 2025, the 23rd Annual Logistics Entrepreneurs Conference took place in Yuxi, Yunnan, gathering authoritative experts, scholars, and leading enterprise representatives from China’s logistics and supply chain sector. Focusing on the theme "Building an Open New High Ground, Painting a New Blueprint for Logistics," the conference summarized benchmark practices of digital transformation in logistics and explored the opportunities and challenges faced by the industry.
Huawei’s Vice President and CEO of Transportation Intelligence, Ma Yue, delivered a keynote speech on the smart transformation of logistics and warehousing. He emphasized that the global supply chain landscape is undergoing profound changes, driven by a new wave of technological and industrial revolutions. To address this, Huawei has established a dedicated team for logistics and warehousing intelligence, harnessing advanced technologies to solve connectivity issues within the logistics digital realm.
Ma highlighted three key points. First, data serves as a cornerstone for modern supply chain logistics, advocating for the creation of reliable digital twin systems to resolve “data silos.” This would enhance cross-modal transport efficiency. Second, artificial intelligence is a crucial driver for upgrading supply chains. AI is transitioning from a supportive role to a central engine for optimizing complex logistics networks, enabling improvements in areas like smart warehousing, dynamic route planning, and automated customs processes. Lastly, Huawei plans to increase its strategic investments in logistics, integrating technology and practical experience to foster a modern digital logistics infrastructure that enhances safety and efficiency across supply chains.
Currently, Huawei has supported over 100 global ports and more than 200 logistics enterprises, with intentions to further deepen its commitment to the industry, ensuring a seamless flow of logistics, commerce, and information for a more efficient future.
