On December 10, a delegation from the Hungarian government’s artificial intelligence (AI) commission visited Peixin Primary School in Dongcheng District, Beijing, for an AI education exchange event aimed at showcasing educational achievements in AI and enhancing communication in this field.
The visit began with a captivating demonstration by AI companions, including the robot "Hui Xiaozhu" and the robotic dog "Zhi Xiaowang," which illustrated the engaging and warm atmosphere of AI education.
The delegation proceeded to the first-floor hall to view a promotional video titled "AI Time," which vividly outlined the school’s AI educational framework. In a meeting room, Peixin's representatives discussed the integration of AI across four dimensions: enhancing student learning, improving teaching methods, fostering student growth, and promoting collaborative education. They provided insights into the school's innovations and achievements in AI education, including the use of intelligent language assessment tools that showcased significant improvements in teaching efficiency and effectiveness.
During the hands-on demonstration segment, the delegation explored core subject applications, experiencing firsthand the integration of AI into daily teaching. In the AI assignment evaluation classroom, an intelligent grading and learning analytics system streamlined assignment reviews and provided precise insights into student progress. The AI-enhanced physical education classroom utilized smart assessment and training facilities for activities like long jump and rope skipping, making PE lessons more scientific and targeted. The AI technology space featured equipment such as chess-playing robots and drones, greatly igniting students' interest in scientific exploration. Finally, a lively general AI education class illustrated the significant role of AI in promoting scientific knowledge and developing students’ AI literacy.
